Customer Engagement Representative

We are seeking a customer engagement representative with sales experience preferred, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing effective customer service for all customers by using knowledge of company products and services. You will interact with clients to provide information with the goal to have them complete their application to proceed into our system/portal to appease their needs. The ideal candidate will have expert communication and listening skills, that is keen on working in a fast-paced environment and willing/able to speak with a lot of clients daily. By listening effectively to find the root cause of issues and communicating in a clear and friendly way and are able to solve the issue and provide a positive customer experience.

Customer Engagement Representative Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reach out to prospective clients to help them complete the application process
  • Provide appropriate and correct information to clients that have started the application process
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even when faced with misplaced criticism or frustration
  • Able to learn quickly and move on from both success and failure
  • Guide clients on how to upload documentation into our system
  • Provide timely feedback to company management regarding challenges or customer concerns
  • Listen, document, and help resolve conflicts with customers

Customer Service/Call Center Representative Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • College Degree preferred
  • Proven Experience in a call center environment
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Computer experience and aptitude
  • Patience for dealing with confused or irate customers
  • Problem-solving skills, and the ability to think under pressure
  • Commitment to continuing education about the company, products, and services

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
